Year 10 HIVE Excursion
On Tuesday the 6th of December, the Grade 10s went on a trip to the Hive Tasmania in Ulverstone. This was in accordance with the unit of Earth and Space that we have been learning in Science this term. We participated in activities about the Big Bang Theory and the life cycle of stars. In the Planetarium, we also learned more about the wonders and expanse of the Universe and the different constellations that can be observed in the night sky.
Finally, we also participated in an activity about creating the fastest model car to race classmates down a racetrack. The event was a great learning experience for us and expanded well on what we have learnt in class.
