Welcome back year 8’s!

The Year 8s have had a fantastic start to the new year, adjusting to their new grade area, subjects and core classes. It has been an absolute pleasure to see them settle into the new year, build new friendships with peers and positive working relationships with all their new teachers. We are so fortunate to have such a fantastic team supporting our Year 8s and school in 2021.

Students have been very organised this term with everyone starting the new year with a new locker and all students having their own lock, to ensure their belongings are kept safe and organised. It has also been pleasing to note how students have taken on board the responsibility of being a positive role model and support for our new and younger students in Year 7.

This week home groups are electing their new class captains for Semester 1 and we are very excited to see how our Year 8 class captains will help to build our positive school culture and contribute to our brilliant grade area.

Thank you Year 8s for a fantastic start to 2021; we look forwards to a positive, productive and fun term ahead!
